I decided to get back into SharePoint. This time it will be external and available to the internet. Once I get it up, it will likely be my primary blog address.

I have glorious Cincinnati Bell FiOptics Services and with it I received a terrible Westell Ultraline Series3 9100VM. Luckily I had a Linksys WRT610n V2 just lying around. I had flashed the firmware to DD-WRT some time ago and would much rather prefer DD-WRT over the Westell interface. So I configure the 9100VM as a bridge and use the 610n as the router instead. I love the 610n. Now its time to create the VMs.

(Yes, this is a bad idea, I have a limited amount of RAM to work with)

VM2:
Windows Server 2008 R2
SharePoint 2007 (Eventually will be upgraded to 2010)

VM3:
Windows Server 2008 R2
Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010

On the physical server, I have two network adapters and I set up two virtual networks in Hyper V.  One Private Virtual Machine Network for the domain and one external network so that the VM with TMG can act as an edge firewall.

I created a Web site for the Twin Dragon Restaurant in West Chester, OH.  I’m not quite done yet but it shouldn’t take long.  Hopefully the owner, Benny, will decide to let me implement it to replace his current one.

I am very proud to say that I have finished the Gamma Dynamics website and it was a blast building it.  I am very satisfied with how the site turned out and I have learned much concerning WordPress and PHP.

I have begun building a Website for a display technology company called Gamma Dynamics.  They have made some interesting advances in display technology and are set to revolutionize the display market.  I am really excited to be a part of such an awesome project.  I am using WordPress for the site.  I hope to have it up by about mid-February.

http://drupal.jamesgrizzle.com is now alive and active.  No content whatsoever yet but I think I am going to start that soon.

I started this blog to explore the capabilities of WordPress to determine if WordPress has the functionality required for thecircuit.net.  I will also be exploring Drupal.
